Built in 2005 and owned by the McEniff family from Donegal, the Ardmore Hotel is the newest member of the Cara Hotel group. The medium sized lobby features a walnut reception desk and tiled floor, as well as a small seating area, with the bar to one side and the restaurant to the other. Each one of the 96 guestrooms is tastefully decorated with comfort in mind. All are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. Getting its name from the Creamery which formerly occupied the site on which the hotel now stands, the Cream Restaurant offers an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere in which to sample an International Menu with a traditional Irish twist. Each dish is carefully selected and prepared and is complimented by an extensive wine list. There’s also the Premier Bar, which is the ideal place to relax and unwind.
